Wonderfully slim design, Full-size keyboard and touchpad, Brilliant display, Good productivity performance
Single USB port that doesn’t accommodate some peripherals, Shorter-than-expected battery life, Mediocre Wi-Fi range
When you weigh the compromises against what the MacBook Air offers, there are some good reasons to think twice and to wait for some of these innovations to grace the next iteration of the MacBook Air. But that’s reason talking. Our visceral reaction...

Incredibly thin yet surprisingly sturdy; new trackpad gesture controls are very useful; remote optical drive makes living without a built-in drive much easier.
Very limited connectivity; slower than other MacBooks; SSD hard-drive option is ridiculously expensive and standard hard drive is small; battery is not user replaceable.
The design is revolutionary, but Apples MacBook Air will appeal to a smaller, more specialized audience than the standard MacBook, thanks to a stripped-down set of connections and features.

Zusammenfassung: The latest version of FileMaker’s venerable database adds Leopard compatibility. But the interface is the same as it has been for years and while FileMaker is one of the simplest databases on any platform, that’s only simple compared to other database...
Thinnest laptop on the market. Simply gorgeous. Amazing 13-inch display on a 3-pound chassis. Full-size keyboard. Doesnt load ultra-low-voltage processors. Eco-friendly. Gesture-enabled touchpad. Reasonable prices.
Only one USB port, three ports total. No ExpressCard or card-reader option. Battery is not user upgradable. Productivity may take a hit with only 3 hours of battery life running Vista.
The MacBook Air is officially the thinnest laptop, and the lightest of those with a 13-inch screen. But there were compromises that had to be made....
