While the still picture quality we obtained with the supplied 18-135mm lens appeared quite good superficially and the camera was able to handle most subjects, we were a little disappointed in the Imatest results we obtained. (We believe this is largely th...

The Canon EOS 70D's new sensor delivers excellent autofocus performance and the camera itself is quite fast. Its design is reasonably streamlined and the feature set appropriately tailored to the target market as well
The image quality doesn't overly impress for this price class, and certain aspects of the design -- notably single card slot, hard-to-control multicontroller and the Wi-Fi/movie mode conflict resolution -- are annoying
An overall excellent camera, but one that fails to capture the best-in-class prize for image quality....
Although it's too early to make a firm pronouncement before we receive a review camera, we feel the EOS 70D will be of interest to many photographers who have been awaiting an update to the EOS 60D. The dual pixel technology is of particular interest and ...
Zusammenfassung: This is probably the last gadget review we do this year and what a rocking time we had with this camera. We got our hands on the Canon 70D to run it through our test bench. This is a no-nonsense DSLR from Canon, built to perform in almost any type of ligh...

Impressive image quality, Super continuous AF for movies, Builtin WiFi, 19AF pounts, Responsive touchscreen
Single SD card slot, No builtin GPS, Unable to record videos when WiFi

Excellent new autofocus system, Superb image quality, Handy Wi-Fi and touchscreen
Bigger than a mirrorless cam, Expensive
The 70D is Canon's best DSLR for ages. While its recent entry-level models have been near flawless in their own right, they've not really offered anything that might make compact system camera users sit up and take notice. But the 70D does exactly that. D...
Zusammenfassung: This review is actually written by a Guest Reviewer , my brother Burt , whose day job is as a consultant for a big telecom company. He's also an amateur photographer and an armchair techie in his spare time. He got an advance unit of the Canon EOS 70D r...
The Canon EOS 70D is truly a worthy upgrade over a Rebel series camera, though anyone with a 50D or a 60D may not be entirely convinced to get one now as those two DSLRs were stellar in their time as well. The new features added such as the innovative dua...
