Compact, portable design, Excellent controls and user interface, Impressive image quality
Relatively slow continuous shooting and focusing, No built-in viewfinder, Limited native lens range
Overall, theres a lot to like about the Canon EOS M3. It is compact, well made, and handles well, with a sensibly thought-out control layout and well-designed grip. Crucially, autofocus speed is much improved on earlier Canon EOS M models, to the extent...

Zusammenfassung: Canon makes great DSLR cameras, there's no doubt about that. But in 2012 when the company dipped into the mirrorless market with the EOS M, it was unusually behind the curve. The EOS M2 appeared in Asia to try and fill a gap, some firmware update appeared...
The Canon EOS M3 is a much better, more complete-feeling camera than the EOS M. But perhaps that's the least you would hope for. More manual control, better AF performance and a new processor were almost a given for Canon to turn its CSC fortunes around....
24Mp APSC format sensor, Excellent interface, Plenty of control
Limited EFM mount lens range, Frustrating autofocus system, No viewfinder builtin

The eyelevel electronic viewfinder is an expensive option
This camera is not sold in the US because even though it has all the important features of a DSLR it doesn't have the size and ostentation. The image quality is the same as for the bigger Canons. The LCD gives more information in shooting mode than you ge...
A very well-designed mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, the EOS M3 offers high-quality photos
It's slow, with a relatively limited feature set for the price
The Canon EOS M3 offers DSLR-quality photos and decent performance, but its feature set is average and the dearth of lenses shows a lack of commitment by Canon....
Although the EOS M3 is better configured for photo enthusiasts, the lack of a built-in EVF remains a serious barrier to its acceptance as a serious enthusiast's or pro photographer's camera – even as a back-up body. The small buffer capacity for raw files...
The Canon EOS M3 brings a compact form-factor into the interchangeable lens category, along with decent daylight imaging. However, its low-light performance is below par, it has a limited dynamic range, renders high noise in ISO settings of 1000 and above...
