The Alpha 7S has the same body and Bionz X processor as the Alpha 7 and 7R, but boasts a 24 x 36 mm CMOS image sensor (with lower resolution of 12.2 Megapixels) that allows it to boast mind-bending sensitivity of up to 409600 ISO (equivalent to the Nikon D4s). It's also the only Alpha 7 to sport an electronic shutter for completely silent picture-taking and XAVC-S video recording; it also shoots 4K video, but on an external recorder....
