Disney Epic Mickey is undeniably the disappointment of the year for us. It was a concept that promised so much when it emerged last year but has ultimately ended up falling far short of the mark. What's more troubling than all of this, though, is that ...
Zusammenfassung: The premise for Epic Mickey is an interesting one: Mickey Mouse has been thrown into the Wasteland, a world whose residents comprise forgotten and obscure Disney characters. The Wasteland was afflicted with a catastrophe caused by accident on Mickey’s ...
Looks awesome, has a neat paint and thinner mechanic, your actions affect the world and people in the Wasteland, great soundtrack, animated story segments have a unique feel, story is well written, there are secret areas hidden, auto-saves, can unlock extra features and art, quite a few sidequests are available, items carry over in subsequent playthroughs and there are lots of character cameos. Oswald has attempted to turn this cartoon wasteland int
Wonderful and gutsy concept that explores the darker reaches of the Disney universe; Creative sidescrolling sequences; Mickeyjunk Mountain!
Gameplay is alternately boring and frustrating, with a poor camera and some shaky jumping physics; Dull missions prominently feature tedious tasks, and the campaign lacks momentum; Story even seems underdeveloped in the campaign.
A strange, captivating journey into a Disney-style wasteland, Adaptive soundtrack, Nostalgic flourishes, Open-ended gameplay,
Plenty of junk in the wasteland, Poor controls, poorer camera placement, Lackluster on HDTV, Too many instructions to start with, too few later, Single player only,
For young gamers and Disney enthusiasts, Epic Mickey paints an imaginative, interactive, and nostalgic journey for the Wii. ...
Zusammenfassung: Disney Epic Mickey certainly lives up to its title. The story in the game is amazing, the visuals are stark (and just a little disturbing) and the gameplay mechanics make the world of the game interactive and fun. However, there are some things that ho...
Clever implementation of the Disney license, Element of choice leads to some welcome unpredictability.
Imprecise controls and an awful camera, Repetitive and frustrating combat, Tedious objectives lack originality, Little direction throughout the adventure, Repeatedly replaying boring levels isn't fun.
Tedium and monotony overwhelm Mickey's new adventure, smothering its clever use of the Disney license....
