Zusammenfassung: Tweet While at Nokia World 2010, I was able to spend time with the new Nokia E7 – so much time, in fact, that I can now write a full hands-on Nokia E7 review! And I have to say I liked what I saw. Despite me being harsh on Nokia’s phones for a while ...
The Nokia E7's screen is one of its best aspects. It can't match the resolution of the latest high-end smartphones – including the Apple iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S II – but it features more impressive colours than most, thanks to Nokia's CBD (ClearBlack Display) technology. Colours are brilliantly vibrant, and blacks surprisingly deep. It's fantastic for displaying photos or playing back films
The Nokia E7 suffers from two big flaws. One is the camera, which is the same as the snapper found on the much cheaper Nokia C6-01. We were hoping for Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus – as with the Nokia N8 – but instead the E7 gets Nokia's EDoF technology. This means that everything should be in focus – but unfortunately taking depth away from images – and we also found our snaps were surprisingl
Despite that, we still find ourselves liking the Nokia E7. The excellent build quality and proper keypad make it feel like an old-school business smartphone – a feel further enhanced by the slightly old fashioned operating system. If you can live with ...
A few fiddly aspects aside, the Nokia E7 is a lovely piece of hardware, but the Symbian^3 operating system is just out of its depth when compared to the competition — and the fact that Nokia has also lost faith in Symbian is hardly encouraging either. ...

The bottom line, for me, is that I wanted to like this phone. However I couldn't and wouldn't recommend it. Not to my father or anyone else. It's too big, it's too slippery, the OS is just too outdated and it hasn't even worked properly for me & I coul...
8megapixel camera; solid chassis; slide out keyboard,
Symbian ^3 does not appeal to all; heavy to carry.
Symbian is coming to the end of its lifespan as an operating system for Nokia's higher-end smartphones, and ^3 doesn't feel particularly sophisticated. Knowing this makes the E7 feel dated, despite some high-end specifications. ...
The solid build and very useable keyboard are both things we've come to expect from Nokia's high-end smartphones, as is the (generally) superb performance from its cameras. But Symbian, the stuff it all runs on, is slow, and just doesn't stand up to ot...
The E7 looks great, its gleaming metal body resembling the unibody design of a Mac laptop. The camera is strong, delivering detailed, highly usable results, even if it lacks the stand-out 12Mp snapper of the N8. And battery life is exceptional. Overal...
