Good cooling, Great looks, Very quiet, Accepts full size PSU and expansion cards, Comfortable carrying handle, Modular design for relatively easy installation, Reasonable price, Stealth drive covers, Good manual
Nonstandard installation, Won't accept the largest graphics cards
Thermaltake has a real gem in the Lanbox chassis. The design and styling elements join to produce a small, portable case that not only performs very well, but also is relatively easy to work in, given the space limitations. And, it looks as good as i...
Small and portable, Has a handle so you can easily carry it around, Comes with 2 60mm fans and 1 90mm fan, Has 7” drive bay to accommodate an optional ThermalTake touchscreen drive bay monitor, Has many thumbscrews, Has room for an SLI/Crossfire set...
Cannot support ATX motherboards; only has room for MicroATX and MicroITX, Installation is tricky, Good cable management is difficult
The LANBOX is a good, solid, and silent case that’s perfect for gamers who often attend LAN parties, or just about anyone else looking to build a portable system without sacrificing power. Though it was more difficult to put the machine together, th...
Looks Nice, Good Cooling For Its Size, Easy To Install A Rig In, 40 MM Lighted Fan Lit Up The Whole Chassis, Small, Easy On The Eyes
CPU Motherboard Cutout Is Not For Both AMD And Intel Rigs, Heavy (19.49 lbs)
We like almost everything about the Thermaltake Lanbox but lets get to what we didnt like first. There were a few sharp edges in the chassis and with that little bit of room you have to work in your sure to get a scrape if youre not careful. Then a...
As a case overall, the LanBox isn’t flashy, or overly styled. The design is based almost entirely on packing everything into a small box to make it easy to pack up and take to a lan party. At that task the LanBox succeeded, I found the case to be sm...
Zusammenfassung: Video Review: There are many small form factor (SFF) cases on the market, but very few come close to the features found on the Thermaltake LANBOX SFF Case. This product looks great, has a very strong handle, excellent air circulation and has a modular chassis. This modular chassis design means that the motherboard tray, power supply mount, external drive bay cage and internal drive bay cage can be easily removed. It's an amazing design because the computer components can be installed or removed outside the case. This gives the computer users lots of room to work. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
Having just recently reviewed another SFF Gaming case, I felt I was in a good position to judge the Thermaltake LANbox. It does have several things going for it. Its small and very sturdy, and with the built-in carrying handle its highly portable...
Limits you to odd sized mainboards, Heavy for a portable case, Some sharp internal edges
Even with the portly weight of the Thermaltake Lanbox, it is still one of the most portable gaming cases around. Hardcore gamers wanting the latest mainboards and dual slot graphics cards in SLI mode will want to shop elsewhere. Gamers simply looking f...
Toolless design is clever and works without problem, Attractive styling, Great build quality, Included 120mm cooling fan is very quiet (a mere 17dB!)
No window, I would have preferred screwin style motherboard standoffs
For only $45 Canadian Dollars, the Thermaltake WingRS 100 packs not only excellent features but also amazing build quality into one nice package. I found it hard to believe a case of that price was not only completely tool less but also had such fine a...
Good looking, Available in different colors, Well packed, Handle, Optional LCD
Lacks ATX support
Installing all the parts in this case went very smooth since most of the case parts are removable. No tools were needed and we managed to install all parts quite quick. Now I did not get the optional LCD from Thermaltake but if you look at their websit...
