But this is a consumer-level review and it has to be mentioned. Aside from this, the AV 40s offer indisputable sound quality and pro-level connectivity options that make them an attractive product for enthusiasts.

With 6 x 7.25inch footprints, they do take up room (and at 14 pounds a pair, you won't be moving them around much). Backside power switch means you're constantly doing a reacharound at bedtime.
